Burlington City Park

A couple of weekends ago the four of us headed to the Burlington City Park for the Carousel Festival.  It was kind of a last minute thing which turned out to be a lot of fun.

The day started off with a trip to the car wash.  Casey thought his Daddy was super funny when he sprayed the water on the windows.

We met up with a friend of ours and the foster children her family is looking after.  This little fella was about the same age as Casey.  I don't know if Casey is going to be much of a football player but he did enjoy throwing one around.

Here's a cute shot of Baby Sam taken by her Daddy!

They had several bouncy house things set up for the kids to enjoy.  So Daddy bought Casey some tickets and took him over to one of the bouncy things... which happen to be one of the largest slides there!!!  Daddy was braver than Mommy and Casey was actually braver than I thought he would be.  After his first timid slide he got up and was ready for more!

Here's Casey at the top of the big slide...

And down he goes!

This is how Samantha experienced the festivities.  It wasn't long before she was fast asleep.

Another slide.  A little smaller but just as fun!

And down he goes!

They had some really neat sandcastle artists demonstrating their building skills.  I have to say that I was impressed!

Before heading to the carousel we stopped for a short boat ride.  I think the smile on Casey's face explains how exciting he thought this was!

All aboard!

As far as I can tell there was some type of hat requirement for this particular boat.

And finally the carousel...

And after a short nap Baby Sam was ready for the fun!
