Random

Here are a few random photos I've been meaning to post.  The first two were taken a month or so ago.  Casey and Samantha were helping me bake brownies one evening.  Daddy thought it would be funny to "pose" them for a couple of photos.  ...and No Samantha did not eat any of the chocolate she is holding!

The last photos here were taken a couple of weekends ago at a family reunion.  Casey enjoyed playing at the next door neighbors house.  They had all kinds of cool stuff like skateboards, helmets, bikes, basketballs, etc.

This is Casey working very hard to get the skateboard up the ramp... notice the tongue sticking out!

Here is Samantha being held by her Uncle Chris.

The Flower Park

To kill some time yesterday afternoon I decided to take the kids to the park... the flower park as Casey said.  Not that you can tell from these photos but Casey was in a rather grumpy mood.  I knew this before we left for the park but I decided that he was either going to be grumpy at home or outdoors.  So I opted for outdoors where at least we could get some fresh air.  When it was time to go home Casey showed me (and everyone else in the park) just how grumpy he was.  After a screaming fit he was given the choice of either walking back to the car or having me carry him back to the car.  Either way it was time to go home.  So after carrying a screaming toddler halfway through the park and running after the sidetracked toddler through the other half of the park we finally made it back to the car!  I can't be sure but I can just imagine that as we pulled away there were a few cheers coming from somewhere in the park.

Here are a few pictures of a happier time before the scream fest.

My sweet little Sam... starting to sit up like a big girl!

This was a fun series of photos.  Casey wanted to were his pirate hat to the park.  Honestly I think it made the picture!

And this was one of the last photos before the screaming toddler decided to appear.  I can understand why he didn't want to leave.  Rolling around in the grass is always a ton of fun.  Arrr me matey!
