It's been awhile

I know it's been awhile since I added new photos of the kids so here ya go.  The first few taken just hanging around the house on a Saturday afternoon.  The next set of photos were taken on a day that we decided to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

Best Buddies

These are just some random pictures of my little sweethearts.  I pray that they continue to grow up as the best of buds. 

Firefighter Expo

So in looking for something to do on a Saturday morning I saw that there was a Firefighter Expo in Winston-Salem.  I didn't really know what to expect from it but it sounded like something the kids would enjoy.  Casey was blown away by all of the big firetrucks (there really were a lot of them!) and Samantha enjoyed the flashing lights.

One of the neatest things we did that day was watch this helicopter land.  I have to say that I have never been that close to a helicopter as it landed.  It was a first for me too!  Afterwards we got to look inside the helicopter at all the gadgets and gizmos.

The Expo was kind of a random thing to go and do but it turned out to be a neat experience!

Goodbye toddlerhood... hello Big Kid!

They just don't stop growing!!!  It is so exciting to see your children reach milestones in their development and yet I can't help but wipe a tear... my little boy ain't so little anymore.  Casey celebrated is his big 3rd birthday with three parties this year!!!  

His first party was at school...

I'm not really sure what Casey was talking about here but it was obviously something very important!

 

His next celebration was at home with just the four of us.  Here is his big happy birthday sign.
